Redding very well in Jerez

Hernández also have more than fulfilled with the objectives set

The races of 125cc and 250cc corresponding to the Spainish GP, second round of World Championship, have confirmed what pointed in the qualifying yesterday by the riders of the Blusens Aprilia team. The British Scott Redding and the Spaniard Manuel Hernández, who yesterday were the best of the team, have also been who have responded to the prior expectations.

Redding has finished in a good 7th place and consolidates in the Top 10 of the small category (5º with 20 points). Manuel Hernández has seized by far his opportunity in the World Championship and has scored two points (fourteenth) in the fourth of liter. Quite worst has resulted the day for Efrén Vázquez and Eugene Laverty, who haven’t been able to complete their respective races. The first has suffered a crash and Laverty has seen how the engine of his Aprilia was broken in the first part of the race.

From Blusens Aprilia was valued of form "quite positive" the overall computation of this GP. "The season has just begun and is difficult to get a full of good results in each race. That’s way we must stay with the positive things and congratulated on its performance to Scott and Manuel. As to Efrén and Laverty, to which the luck has not been good at this time, it is not more than look forward and work hard to correct the situation in Portugal", noted Ricard Jové.

As could not be otherwise, Scott Redding was very happy after his excellent performance in the Jerez circuit and explained that "it has been a very hard and disputed race. I’m very satisfied because I have been winner of the fight that I have had with several rivals in pursuit of the seventh place. In addition this result allows me to stay among the ten best riders of the championship".

It’s not necessary to say that the face of his teammate Efrén Vázquez was very different. The spanish rider explained that "I have gone well, although in the first drafts I have had the logical problems arising from starting so delayed. From the first round I started to get a good rhythm of race and I was convinced to reach the points. However, when I was ascending I crash with a rival and we have fallen both".

With regard to the 250cc class riders, Manuel Hernández showed exultant in the box of the Blusens Aprilia team and confessed to feel "very happy for having signed an excellent race", squeezing the full potential of its bike. "Yesterday I said that I hoped to give the team a good result and so has been. I believe that these two points feel very well to everyone and gives me a way to thank the work and support that I have been given".
On the other side, the Irish Eugene Laverty was so disappointed after a weekend full of difficulties: "I must pass page soon. Now I’m very upset because we have not been able to improve anything. During the three days I had a lot of problems with the backyard train of my bike and in the race I have been very uncomfortable since the start. The worse has come when the engine of my bike has broken".
